SC / APC CONNECTORS

SC type fiber optic connectors are intended for termination of cables and optical fibers. Currently, one of the most popular fiber optic plugs. They are characterized by a push-pull latch mechanism that guarantees quick connection and permanent connection, and the correct placement of the SC-type fiber optic plug in the adapter is signaled by a characteristic click sound. The APC connector has a polished end face of the ferrule at an angle of 8 degrees, thanks to which the reflectance phenomenon occurring when the light passes through the interface has a much smaller impact on the attenuation of the connector.
