Thanks to a barometric sensor, it displays the current altitude, route gradient, and elevation gain. This waterproof bike computer also displays distance, speed, total distance, ride time, total ride time, average speed, speed-to-average speed comparison, maximum speed, and temperature. All this for two different bikes (e.g., a road bike and a mountain bike, with an optional mount for a second bike). Want to monitor your cadence? The VDO R3 WL makes it possible. Purchase a cadence sensor from your local bike shop, connect it to your computer, and off you go. The VDO R3 WL display allows you to keep track of your training data even after dark, thanks to the integrated backlight. The VDO R3 WL will also provide you with statistics for the last 12 months, allowing you to monitor key values achieved during this period and compare your performance. Pre-defined tire sizes make setting up the computer very easy, as is mounting it to the handlebar or stem using the included cable ties. Despite its secure mounting, the bike computer is easy to remove from the mount and store in a pocket, protecting it from theft. A radio transmitter attached to the fork transmits the speed measured at the wheel to the VDO R3 WL. The integrated, replaceable button cell battery (CR 2450) provides sufficient power to power the VDO R3 WL for up to two years.
